Commercial use of our content delivery engine
Two companies have declared their intent to license our content delivery engine.
Commercial use of Emdros
In addition, two companies have bought licenses to Emdros:
- The German Bible Society(external link), for inclusion in their Stuttgart Electronic Study Bible (SESB)(external link).
- Logos Bible Software(external link) for inclusion in their Libronix Digital Library System(external link). Emdros powers the "Syntax Search" in Libronix.
Academic use
Emdros is in use around the world in academic settings, including:
- The Werkgroep Informatica at the Free University of Amsterdam under Prof. Dr. Eep Talstra.
- The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW)(external link) have selected Emdros as the underlying database technology for a pilot project(external link) that aims to discover how to archive, and make accessible to the public, all of the Dutch computational linguistics material collected over the past decades.
- The Thai Treebank used to have a web interface on top of Emdros, which unfortunately is offline now.
